As people know Mark Simpson and I fell out a while back.
Since then he has blocked me on facebook, removed my blogs from his blogroll, etc.
Now he has banned me from viewing his blog altogether.
I use a proxy server and can access his blog there.
But any links to his blog from mine do not work. e.g:
http://www.marksimpson.com/blog/2012/02/08/channing-tatum-the-modern-male-stripped-bare/
I find this upsetting because any new QRG readers will not be able to read his work. And existing ones are hardly likely to go searching for his posts.
I also find it upsetting because a lot of my ideas, comments, material are on Simpson’s blog. I helped him write and publish Metrosexy, and also encouraged him to publish Male Impersonators on Kindle. I am his biggest supporter.
I oppose censorship in all its forms. Mark has made the internet a little less of a free and informative place.
I also find it sad that whilst Simpson has ‘banned’ me from his online spaces this has not helped him write anything of any quality, free from my awful influence.
I, meanwhile, continue to develop his theories unabated. e.g. here:
http://metrosexy.wordpress.com/
What gives?
UPDATE:
This way I do not have to put links to his blog on mine. And I still get to link to his work so others can read it.

Holy hell, what happened between you two?
Holy hell indeed.
we had a few disagreements and a fall out over the summer but made friends again. Then he just cut off contact one day about three months ago, I know not why.
Since New Year he has been acting strange – using my work for his blogposts without crediting me, removing my blogs from his blogroll, blocking me on facebook etc.
This was hopefully the last thing to happen.
If there’s any “blocking” going on, it’s being done by a script, and an easy script at that.
I clicked on your link above, and the colons after http: disappeared so the page could not be displayed. I highlighted the text of the url, typed a colon back in, and viola! I got on the Simpson post.
If its deliberate, it’s clumsy and easily gotten around. I suppose if you were to find out that other incoming links from blogs were having the same issue, you could find out if it was deliberate or not. But to get around it, at least right now, all your readers have to do is add back in a colon into a malformed web address.
Thanks Clarence that is helpful.
I don’t want people to have to fiddle around with urls though – u should be able to click on a link and it goes to where you are expecting.
For me, the links get two http:// after each other so it doesn’t resolve. Like Clarence I can edit the URL but I can’t be arsed. Not while he’s being such a douche.
douche is right. he’s a douche-fag.
There is a word that does come to mind…………..stalker.
Jut curious and a little off topic, how do you use a proxy?
Olga:
I’d suggest you google “Tor”.
There are other ways but thats probably easiest.
Cool, thanks. Looks interesting.
He’s clearly seen you for the cunt you are.
have you read Anti Gay by Simpson er, Git?
I’ve read enough of your shit to realise why he’s now treating you like toxic waste.
